Hi Matthew:

In case you aren't aware, let me fill you in. Joe Baptista attempted to extort shares
of stock in a company called UNIDT back in 2005 and when they wouldn't give in to
his extortion attempts, he launched a campaign of slander and lies against the operators
of that company. The German student is a businessperson who is operating a business
that is an affiliate of a company (INAIC - www.inaic.com) that is associated with UNIDT
the victim of this extortion attempt. Joe is using this poor student as a pawn in his
insane vendetta against the operators of INAIC, many of which were involved in the
company UNIDT that was a victim of Joe.

Joe Baptista is a known internet predator who has a long history of psychopathic behavior
on the internet, dating back to the days of the old BBS systems. He started out by fax-bombing
the Toronto police department in the early 90's and it has continued on from there.

He has been tossed out of almost all online forums and organizations to which he once belonged,
including the Top Level Domain Association lists. I can speak from experience as I am a member
of the TLDA Board of Directors and the former chairperson of that same board.

The "story" that Joe has posted on his website regarding the student at Gymnasium Querfurt
is a fabrication entirely of Joe's making. It is written by him to sound as if it is from an
authoritative journalistic source, but is actually entirely created by him as part of a carefully
crafted campaign of slander to discredit the people associated with the former UNIDT who would
not give in to his extortion attempts. He is now dragging this student through the mud in
his slander attempts, not caring that he is an innocent bystander who did nothing to Joe
and did not even know of him prior to this time.

Joe misrepresented himself to the principal of Gymnasium Querfurt and make false
accusations that the student was involved in some wrong-doing. As he often does,
Joe takes on an air of authority, authority that he DOES NOT POSSES AND NEVER
DID POSSES, in an attempt to scare people into believing his lies. He managed
to convince the principal to sanction this innocent student for some nebulous
"wrongdoing" on nothing more that Joe's word.

If you are interested, here are some links to various accounts of his exploits over the years:

Be careful of anything that Joe says since most of it is false or misleading and is
nothing more than a furtherance of his attempts to destroy the parties involved
in UNIDT because they would not allow themselves to be extorted.

If you have any more questions about Joe, please drop me an e-mail or you can
join or peruse the archives of the e-mail list that has been set up to keep track of
Joe's antisocial online behavior. This list is located at

  Well,

Matthew thanks for taking the time to verify this. Unfortunately you didn't do a good job of it.

Hmm, I also have a record from his office - from a different assistant - we'll just have to see what comes back this time.

For the record here is the email from the office of Albrecht.

I'm not going to forward the email that I received to a public list, that would be rather rude. I have to say that the advice "if you think you have been defrauded go to the (relevant) police" isn't particularly startling, nor is it indicative that the MEP or their office consider that there has actually been a fraud. I'll stick to my original statement that I know nothing about the facts of the case.

Incidentally .. the story also contains a quote from Keith Teare the well known founder of RealNames who the scam artists claim was behind on of their projects. Teare denied RealNames has anything to do with them and said "I just read the various sites", Teare said, "looks like a major scam".

I don't know Keith - but then I'm on this list as a security person, not as a domain entrepreneur. Although I used to be an EasyNet customer ...
